Benefits of Red Light Therapy
Red light therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that may support both health and beauty goals. While research is ongoing, many people experience positive effects such as:
- Sharper mind & better sleep – Early studies suggest it may support memory, mood, and rest.
- Pain relief – Helps ease inflammation, joint stiffness, and muscle soreness.
- Joint comfort – May provide short-term relief for arthritis-related pain.
- Stronger tendons – Can aid recovery and reduce discomfort from tendon issues.
- Hair growth – Shown to improve hair thickness and regrowth in some cases.
- Youthful skin – Stimulates collagen, reduces fine lines, and improves elasticity.
- Clearer skin – Helps calm inflammation, reduce acne, and fade old scars.
- Body sculpting support – Sometimes used to temporarily slim and contour treated areas
Infrared Sauna
What is an Infrared Sauna?
Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air, infrared saunas use gentle infrared light to warm your body directly. This allows them to work at a lower temperature (typically 120–140°F) while still delivering deep, soothing heat.
Benefits You May Experience
Infrared saunas share many of the same wellness perks as traditional saunas, such as:
- Better sleep & relaxation
- Muscle recovery & pain relief
- Joint comfort (including arthritis support)
- Clearer, tighter skin
- Improved circulation
- Detoxification & natural stress relief
While research is still ongoing, studies suggest infrared saunas may also support cardiovascular health, help reduce inflammation, and ease chronic fatigue symptoms. Even beyond the science, most people simply feel refreshed, relaxed, and recharged after each session.
How to Use an Infrared Sauna
- Hydrate first – Drink water before and after your session.
- Start cooler – Begin around 100°F if you’re new, then increase gradually.
- Keep it short – Begin with 5–10 minutes and build up to 15–20 minutes.
- Cool down – Let your body cool before showering or moving on with your day.
- Dress how you like – Wear a swimsuit, towel wrap, or go natural — your choice.
- Relax & enjoy – Meditate, listen to music, or simply breathe.
Most people benefit from 3–4 sessions per week, though daily use may be safe if you feel comfortable.
Safety Tips
Infrared saunas are considered low risk, but a few precautions are important:
- Avoid use if you’ve been drinking alcohol, feel ill, or have a fever.
- Stop immediately if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or overheated.
- Always rehydrate and allow your body time to cool down.
- Check with your doctor first if you have heart conditions, high/low blood pressure, or are pregnant.

Why did we choose Medical Saunas™?
Medical Saunas™ Story:
We noticed something missing in the sauna world: while there are plenty of options out there, very few were truly designed with health in mind. Most were built to cash in on a trend — not to actually help people heal.
That matters, because over 84 million Americans struggle with cardiovascular issues, 53 million live with arthritis, and 60 million deal with sleep problems every night. A sauna should be more than just heat — it should truly support wellness.
So, with the support of leading doctors and more than 10 years of research, we set out to create something better. A sauna that helps ease pain, support detox, improve sleep, and boost overall health.
The result is Medical Saunas™ — built with top-quality materials, designed for real benefits, and trusted by thousands each year. Our mission is simple: to help you heal your body, calm your mind, and lift your spirit — long after you step out.
